it has a Pentium 200 in it right now, socket 7, and has two chips, one with the markings:
PCIset
SB82437VX
L6494562
SU116
INTEL

and the other:
PCIset
SB823715B
L64784407
SU093
INTEL
thanks 🙂

2 methods to find out.

1) is there anything silkscreened on the motherboard? often times, that is the board model and finding the manufacturer is fairly easy from there. If not...

2) What's the Bios POST code? Then go to Wim's Bios Page (sorry don't have the url handy, I'll try to find it and come back here) and look it up.

there is nothing on the board, and i forgot the write down the BIOS 😱
i do know it has 3 PCI, 3 ISA, 2 72pin SIMMs and 1 168pin DIMM
i also can't find the voltage jumpers. i was hoping to run a k6-2 233 i have lying around in it. anyone know if this board(given i can find the voltage jumpers because the k6-2 needs something like 3.2V, and the pentium only needs 2.6 i think) can support k6-2's? thanx again 🙂

Can you find an FCC ID on the board. With that you can do a search on the FCC database and find the manufacture.

I went to www.belarc.com and downloaded their "Belarc Advisor". It gives you all the info on your system. From Type of motherboard to every program that you have loaded on your machine and where it is. I have found this very handy if I ever have to talk to and technical support people. As well as finding out What components are in your system. I hope this helps you!

Given the information you've provided, I've narrowed your board down to just 20 possibilities using the "Mobot" feature on the www.motherboards.org website - so if you plug in just the info you've given us, that should narrow down the possibilities for you considerably.
