Has anyone hooked up PC's to the TV ? I know it can be done with a Y cable (audio) and S video. Was wondering how the ouput is. I have a couple of DVD's that don't play on my dvd player but my PC reads em. What about video games ? How would NBA 2003 look while playing on the TV ?

1. TV will display 800x600, so not great for games IMO
2. Plug in the S-video to Lappy and TV, go into video settings and change output to S-video (really not that difficult)
3. Sound on my box is from the headphone jack to a Y-splitter (Can be found @Ratshack for ~$5) to rca in on my TV

Works alright for some things, but overall sucks compared to the LCD-

Just my .02

Videos should be fine, analog TV's are very low resolution. Games, no, unless you have the latest and greatest laptop with a good video card.

Wow. You're on smack, and good stuff at that.

Keep the resolution at 800x600 max for SVideo and your games will look fine. A bit console-esqe if anything, but very playable.

Forget text though.
