Need to help a friend

A friend of mine is trying to figure out how to upload the movies she has taken with her digital camera on to her computer. I usually just double click on where my memory card pops then drag and click over. She is using an apple powerbook. She has tried imovie and iphoto and neither has worked. Mods can move this if its in the wrong place.

move this to the Mac forum . . . oh wait, there isn't one . . . hmmmmmm . . . .

General Hardware is always the best decision

I thought about general hardware but that was for computer stuff. I thought this dealed more with a camera? No idea. She isnt using a card reader, just her camera hooked up to her computer via usb.

is the camera on? 😉

i do this all the time with several digicams and macs, they always pop right up on the desktop for me. what OS is she using? maybe there are some drivers for the camera?
