Need To Get MP3 Onto CD... Quick!

No time for research and trying to figure this out on my own. My son needs a specific tune burned to CD right now. What application do I need? Any tricks to watch out for? I've got one HP CDRW on here with no other CD player. CDRWIN is up and running as well as EasyCD and I could install another if needed. Feurio will only copy on the fly, so I can't use that.

How the heck do I do this? I've got an MP3 player that I can patch into the back of the SBLive! Value. Will that help? Please hurry!

Will EasyCD burn MP3's directly to CD? If not, save the file as a WAV file, & use EasyCD to create a new audio disc, drop that one WAV on it, & burn away.

If you have the Mp3 file, use Winamp's "Disk writer" output plugin to mave a .wav file, then use your software of choice to burn.

If it's only on the external player, it gets weird. Make sure you mixer settings for recording are set correctly (line in), then use Windows' built-in recorder or, preferably, other software to record a stereo, 16bit, 44.1khz .wav, then burn.

Thanks, but so far I only have Media Player and one other player installed, but I can't find it! I see what you mean about getting it from wav to CD though. Just gotta turn it into a wav now...

Edit: Just found that the other installed player is MusicMatch, but I know less about it than Media Player!

NERO! Just tell it you are burning an audio CD and put the MP3s in the list to burn. It automatically converts them on the fly.

What version of EZCD creator do you have? If it is 4.0 or above, it will burn MP3's on the fly.

I'm burning right now. Used Music Match to "convert" from MP3 to wav and EasyCD (ver. 3.01d) is burning that right now.

And what was the tune that was so all fired important to copy? 99 Red Balloons by Nena. Got both German and English versions going on there. It's for English homework in reference to nuclear war and Hiroshima etc.

additionally, I believe that musicmatch, along with media player 7, have the capabilites to burn cds...might wanna look into that...or of course, my personal favorite, nero.

EasyCD 4 and up will burn straight from .mp3 the same as Nero.
