Mainly for the purpose of timing laps.

I wish that the "smartwatch" were a more mature segment, but it isn't.

Anyways, recommendations? I'd love for it to be nice, round, and analog...

Buy a cheap device made for timing laps. It will have nice big buttons and be easy to use, vs tiny hard to use buttons that function unreliably.

I was looking at the Timex analog watches.

They seem alright, but apparently they tick really loudly? This is a big no-no for me.

They also seem to have a really useful date feature, except that they are 31 days, so every month you need to remember to reset it.

Just get something digital. No calendar issues....

Based on your comments I doubt you'd pay for a quartz/mechanical watch with a perpetual calendar.

I've always wanted one of those triple sensor watches. This is like the Swiss army knife of watches.

Great watch. Only thing I find is that I need the manual to figure out half of the functions and I wish I could have got the sapphire crystal with the titanium bracelet. Casio doesn't offer them together, and the PRW-s3000 is about 400 USD, with the titanium bracelet being another 200 or so. It's a nice watch but not 600+ nice.

When I was a kid Dick Tracy was my favorite and I had this watch.

I had Dick Tracy bed sheets, posters and other crap.

The movie was pretty good.

It came out 1 year before Sin City hit the comic scene,.. and Sin City feels like Dick Tracy, what with the wacky looking goons and thugs.

That's like the price of a low budget computer! LOL

I have never seen the movie. I could have sworn I heard the movie had cannibalism in it?

Now that I'm in my 40s, my eyesight has gotten to the point where I would need to put on reading glasses to read all that crap.
