Need to get a new monitor

My 19" Mitsubishi 930sb crt is dieing so its time to replace it. I play a lot of games and mostly just fast paced fps games so im gonna stick with crt. I want a monitor that supports 120hz refresh at 1024x768 res because thats what im using now. I would just buy the same monitor again but they dont sell it anymore and crt's are becoming harder and harder to find. Ive been looking at this one ViewSonic G90fB it seems decent just wanted to get peoples opinion about it. Also was looking at this one NEC Display Solutions FE992-BK. Please dont respond with any lcd vs crt debate stuff.

Is ViewSonic G90fB vs LCD debate stuff ok? You're missing the forest for the trees here. I'd suggest you just go to costco and buy whatever 19" CRT that's on sale there, CRT manufacturing isn't what it used to be since A-TW-IPS prototypes began.
 
well i want a warranty with whatever i buy because even when i bought the monitor i have now it was a refurb and the first one i got came broke out of the box
 
Well, theres not much anyone can do for you. Ever since this LCD not many have kept up beating the dead horse, since it's pretty much the LD50 to the ol cathode' And that LCD has been around a while. CRT tech is pretty much abandoned because top-end LCDs are sufficient for the last hold outs in professional graphics. I know, I was one of them. I have several CRTs that could easily fetch $600-1500 on the used market, but my primary displays are all LCDs now. If you want a decent CRT you're going to have to find one of those on the used market.

I'm not so bitter about it anymore. I have a NEC 2690WUXI-BK and a Samsung LNS4096D

meh...that site only has 3 19" crt monitors and 2 of them are sold out and i dont even know what that 3rd one is

Because a good CRT still looks better than an LCD. I regret tossing my Sony WS CRT to go LCD. That CRT was great! I didnt have the deskspace in my new apt. but I miss it. DVDs looked fantastic on it. LCDs still suck at playing DVDs compared to a highend CRT.
 
i just thought maybe someone here had one of those two monitors or knew a good online site for crt monitors
