Hey guys -

I have a motherboard with an intel 845 graphics chipset. The list of "supported resolutions" are here:

http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/intel845g/screen.htm

Now, I need to run my monitor at 1600x1024. This is really pissing me off, because I'd like to use my monitor with this embedded card, but it doesn't mesh with their options. Is there anything I can do about this? The chipset can support resolutions lower and higher, but doesn't natively support widescreen... any tricks to try to get it to run an odd resolution? (Under Win2k or WinXP ?)

You might try downloading powerstrip and trying to create a custom resolution. I would use this with caution though cause 1600x1024 is a really odd resolution.
