Need to fix a dent cheaply

First

Lifer
As I was coming out of a Hollywood Video story today, I saw a Ford Expedition parked to the left of my 93 Honda Accord, and for some odd reason his car jolted forward and to the right, straight into the upper left half of my car just above my left front tire. This guy then shifts into reverse and simply leaves, like a bat out of hell. He didn't leave a note or anything else of the kind.

At this point the damage has been done and I really don't feel like staying mad at this fellow. What I'd like to know is how to fix this dent cheaply. It's a simple dent (in addition to a very tiny scratch), caused by the Expedition's huge front right tire plowing into my car. Is there any way I can get this fixed without having to pay $1000? I'm not even sure if it's metal or plexiglass that was dented btw, I know nothing about my car.

Also, the remedy doesn't have to be perfect, I'd just like the general dent to go away (for a good price). Thanks OT folks. 🙂

dentpro or someone like him will be good if only the paint is not broken. They can remove the dents cheaper than anyone else as long as the there aren't creases. If the paint is broken, that is, you can see the paint cracked or missing somewhere, you're looking at getting some paint work which is usually the most expensive part of collision repair.

If he went to Hollywood Video... maybe he rented a movie or returned one. Should be easier for the police to catch him if you know what time this happened.
