Hey all,
I would like to upgrade the video card in my shuttle XPC barebones, which contains a 250Watt power supply. Does anybody know what card (PCI E) would work well by keeping to low power consumption and would allow me to play some recent games on low settings? Specifically, I want to be able to play WoW on decent settings, and games like Call of Duty 4/5 on at least low settings.

Thanks.

Those Shuttle PSUs are hardy little beasts. I've personally run an 8800GT on one for ~6 months with zero problems and have an 8800GS running F@H on one currently. The 4850s are typically 5-10W higher under load than the 8800GT cards so you should be able to handle any of those without trouble. If you're nervous go for the 4670 as it's quite a bit lower in power consumption.

When I used to have a shuttle I ran an X1950 Pro on the 250W PSU . . . yeah, old school now but it did have a PCIe power connector.

I upgraded to the PC50 300W psu, which died after 3 months of using an 8800GT . . . though that may have been bad luck.
