The model is Asus TX98-XV. I can't seem to find the product on Asus' site.

It appears to be Socket 7 with onboard ATI video. It's ATX form factor and has two SDRAM slots. I plugged in a power supply and it turned on for a sec then shut off.

I think this came out of an HP machine, but I'm not sure. I can't get this thing powered up so I want to see if I need to change some jumpers around. Thanks!

I see that they have TX97 but no TX98. They do have a SP98 tho...

The power supply.... is it on 115 or 230? What chipset is it? Any more info on the board? The TX is a Intel Chipset. So if it is the same as the other boards on the website then you're good to go.

It appears to be of the Intel TX chipset, it says FW82439TX

My power supply is set on 115V. I just want to get this thing powered up. I have a Pentium 233mhz that came with it as well.

Thanks for helping :)

They don't appear very similar. My board has two ISA slots and three PCI slots. None are shared. The IDE ports are arranged differently and my board only has SDRAM slots. Also there's an oboard video chipset. I think my board was never released as a commercial product. I think it's only an OEM for big companies.

I just want to get it to power up. I'm not sure why it's not right now. I recall another Asus (CULS-2) board I had had the same problem. All I had to do was reseat the video card, but it doesn't seem to help in this case.
