Need to find Information about a Video File

Ok,

I've got the files, but they've been renamed.
I'd like to find the original name of it and as much else as possible.
Any Ideas?
Anyway to search by File Size, Format, Lenght?
Any hidden information on a video file?

BTW Two files One is in MPEG one is WMV
 
I guess i should add that this file is likely in the public domain, IE P2P file sharing.

I'm looking for a protocal that uses a unique hash for each file that doesn't base the has on file name and only contents.

That way i could search for similar copies.
