need to find a good database of car makes vs models

I'm writing an app and I need to give users the option to select a car make, and model.

I was wondering if anybody knows of a public db that I can use so I don't have to research it and build the list myself.....
 
its for a small classified ad website

I want users to be able to select a make from a drop down menu and then the next drop down dynamically load the models accordingly....
