does anyone know the name of the font that energizer uses for their logos

I believe the Energizer logo uses a modified version of the ever so ubiquitous Helvetica. They most likely used the weight "87 Heavy Condensed" and then slanted it.

It looks like a pretty basic bolded, italicized Sans Serif font. You should be able to approximate it very closely with any number of fonts. I doubt there is a released font you can obtain that exactly matches the one they use though.

It's probably an extremely expensive, but rather ordinary looking sans serif. Just experiment best you can with Helvetica--it'll be close.
