Need to find 1Gig PC-2700 ram stick

I need to find a 1gig Pc-2700 stick. The budget is about $100 maybe I can use $130 if I don't feel like eating meat this week I found some sticks at newegg and pricewatch but I've never heard of some of the companies such as Wintec, Transcend, ect. I would appreciate any adivce on this. Thanks

why buy pc-2700 ram when you can buy 3200 ram. you save like $2 by buying slower outdated ram. it's like... I want a Pentium III 1 GHz because that's all I need when they cost like $50 already. Semprons can be found for that price, or maybe $5 more.

Motherboard supports up to PC-2700 ram. Would I have any problems if I bought PC-3200 and put it in?

PC3200 is backwards compatible with 2700.

Starts at 79.99 and goes up from there. All of those should work fine for you except the PC2100, stay away from that but any 2700 or 3200 will work fine at 2700 speeds.

So what company is good Rosewill, A-Data, V-Data, Wintec, GeLi, ect...?

GeiL would be the best bet out of those. I would personnaly go for Crucial or Kingston, but those are more expensive.

Depends on your needs really. I don't get the impression you are OC/hardcore gamer type. If you are just looking for an increase in memory without worrying about timings etc. then any of them should be fine.
