So, our Dell T710 has run out of room, and needs some expansion. The only things that will end up on here are some VM's and also some archived data that we want access too, but not necessarily on a daily basis.
I'm contemplating going with something like this:

I don't have physical room left in the server, I don't want to pony up the cash for a fullblown SAN, running VM's over a network connection is too slow and I'm not sure I trust a USB connection on a long-term basis.
What are your thoughts?
