Need to decide to buy a Dell DJ or not...

I can buy the 15g DJ for $129 to replace the Ipod that was stolen from my car a week ago...
The problem is that the DJ doens't support .aa files from audible.com and I'd have to go through a crazy conversion process using Goldwave in order to listen to audio books...

That's a BIG part of what I use an mp3 player for... audio books on my 1.5 hour 22 mile commute help to preserve my sanity...

My other main player use is listening to music while working and exercising...

The deal expires today so let me know what you think 🙂

Thanks!

I'd especially like to hear if people ARE usinge a Dell DJ to listen to audiobooks...

Its a great player for the car and working. I would be a little cautious abot using a HD based player while exercizing, though.

I think it's a great deal for 15 gigs. Other than that, you have to ask yourself is it worth it? Do you have the money? Did you like your iPod, and why? Does the DJ have what you want in an MP3 player?
From what I hear, the DJ is bulky. So it might be hard to carry around, or to exercise with.

Not terribly familiar with pricing, but that seems like a pretty good deal. I'd say go for it. You don't need uber sound quality for the spoken word, so converting between formats shouldn't be a problem if you mainly listen to books.
