Ok here's how my network is set up.
Internet from Cable Modem -> Motorola Vonage VoIP Box -> LinkSYS WirelessG Router -> My PC and a few others.
Now what I wanted to do, was use VNC to connect remotley to my PC. I set up a VNC server with TightVNC. I programmed it for the desired port, and forwarded the ports on both my router and the Moto VoIP Box.
Whenever I type in my IP and the port i enabled for HTTP VNC access of my machine, (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:****), i just get that the server timed out. So next i just tried typing in my plain IP, and i get the same thing. For some reason the VoIP box doesn;t like incoming connection over http. It works fine with BotTorrent/eDonkey..., but i cant even access the control panel via http.
Any help would be greatly apreciated,
