Need to convert DVI to D-Sub - Please Advise

I have an Apple flat screen (DVI output) in my music studio and I need it to connect to a new PC which has a D-Sub plug. I bought some converter and it didnt work. Can you point me in the right direction? Maybe get a really cheap DVI card (shared memory, whatever). Thanks.

The flat screen has a DVI input, not output. You will need a cheap DVI card. Do you have a mac or a PC?

I have a PC, but need to hook it up to an Apple flat screen. What's a cheap DVI card, just for display - Im going to be working with music, not video, games etc... Thanks.

There you go, make sure the apple doesn't need dual dvi output though. (it's not the apple cinema display is it?)

No, not apple cinema. Im using the LCD from my G5.

Its like a 21" I think, its in my studio -- it has a regular DVI input -- plugs into the G5 (dont know what card is in there) DVI plug (output).
