need to clone hard drive

I just got a new hd and want to clone my old one over. Basically, I want to do a complete copy so I can just boot up off my new hd. I will use the old HD for vid storage.

Is there any free program or demo I can use that will accomplish this?

Some drive manufacturers provide utilities that will clone an old drive to a new one. I'd check the drive's website first.
