Need to change mouse refresh rate

I got an Intellimouse Explorer, and I need to higher the refresh rate, how do i do it?

If you are using it via the ps-2 port...download ps-2 rate...and you can change it. If you are using the usb port...i think whatever the default is...is it. (125 Hz) ?
