Hello there. I am doing my research now because I am planning to overclock my computer. I have a gigabyte GA-K8N Pro mobo, and in order for me to over clock I need good ram, i don't want to over clock my memory. I was wondering if the dd500 would work. thx

You don't need fast ram to overclock. Especially with A64 systems, if you buy value ram and run it using a divider, you will take a very small performance hit, but will save $100 or more.

i've seen that gigabyte boards aren't capable of very high htt. you might not be able to make it to ddr 500. If your asking will you be able to use it? Yes you will, but you might not be able to OC to ddr 500.
