Hi all

Need to buy a good psu, is corsair vx450 sufficient for my rig ?

specs that i am going to buy
1) i7-920
2) Gigabyte ex58 UD3R
3) No graphics card ( as i dont play games )
4) 3 x 1tb hard disk
5) 2 x dvd writers

of should i go for more like Corsair tx650

also do i need any cpu cooler like artic cooling freezer 7 pro

If you're using onboard GFX, you should be fine.

If you're not overclocking you do not need anything better than stock cooling.

Sadly no onboard graphics for any gigabyte boards for i7 socket

Yep, no problem. Could probably even support up to 9800GT if that's what you want to get.

If you're not even using a serious graphics card, you're way below the psu max rating. Indeed you could easily toss in a high end video card and still be fine.

I'd honestly say the new Antec NEO Eco green 410w PSU would be better.
