need to burn dvd with sony dru 500.. which software???

Ive already tried..

Nero (burn button is shaded out, im not able to click)
Prassi primo (doesnt recognize my drive)
Instant VOB (wont burn)

which program are you guys using?
 
Nero should work. The DRU 500 is listed as a compatible drive. Make sure you're updated to the latest version.
 
is it because im using Nero Express?

Its weird... the "BURN" option is faded out.. I cannot click on it 🙁 Maybe I should install regular Nero?
 
well... an older version of nero may not support your drive. Go to nero's site and get the latest version and I bet it will work like a charm.

My verbatim (nec) dvd+RW drive wouldn't work with any nero before like x.x.15 or whatever their weird version system is.
