Hello everyone. :)

I am pretty versed in the language of AMD and KT266A/KT333...but really clueless on the language of Intel and Pentium 4 m/b's. I was wondering if you all could give me some suggestions on a good, stable and easy to set-up m/b for a Pentium 4 (probably going with a Northwood 1.6 or 1.8). The system will not be o/c'ed...by me anyways. So, really looking for stability and ease of set-up more than anything. Would be nice to have on-board RAID and NIC 10/100. Everything else on-board would be extra. Shooting for the $80-$120 dollar range. Please be specific with your reccomendations...like I said, I really don't speak Intel much at all!

Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Well I build mostly AMD but have been building the Asus P4S533 and you couldn't ask for a easier board to work with, What got me when I got the first one is how small they are and they need a good size power supply but you do know if you are not going to over clock a AMD will walk all over the P4, If you use a 1.6a and set the FSB to 133 it isn't pushing it that much, Doesn't even push the temp up and the 1.6 runs at 2.133 with the stock heatsink

The Gigabyte GA-8IRXP would be right up your alley. Promise 133 RAID, Intel 10/100 lan, Creative hardware sound onboard and still has 6 PCI slots to play with. It's Intels I845D chipset and in your price range.
