Need to backup a laptop with no floppy...

Okay here's the deal. I have two laptops (identical hardware) and I want to image one, and then use it to do the install for the other laptop without having to go thru the motions again.

I have Norton Ghost 2003 but I cannot find a way to create a boot CD instead of a boot disk. Any ideas guys? I was thinking of loading ghost.exe onto a bootable CD but unfortunately, that does not seem to work for me.

When I was using Ghost 2003, it was able to create a virtual partition and boot off of it without the use of a boot disk. I don't think I did any special steps either.
