in short-- my roommate uses my computer for pokerstars. i set him up with his own account so he won't be able to interfere with my account and settings. i put him in as a member of the "users" group, then logged in under his account used the "run as" command to install pokerstars.

however, when he starts pokerstars it gives an error and quits. if i change his account to "power users" it works fine. what is the likely cause of this? i didn't have the time last night to look into the error. i don't mind him playing pokerstars on my computer, but i do want to limit him from installing other programs and changing system settings. any suggestions?

thanks,
joel

sounds like pokerstars wants to write files in a directory he doesn't have write access too. You could try using the run as feature to run the app as admin, or modifying the permissions on the folders pokerstars uses to give him write/exe privliges.
