Need to add another 16GB of RAM. How bad would getting a different color be?

Latency: 10-10-10-27

This is $15 cheaper:

The only difference I think is the color. I should be okay getting the cheaper model right?

If the only difference is the colour then you should be fine.

If its another 2x8GB, and you use dualchannel, then you could plug in anything more or less, since they would all just run at the lowest determinator.

Not a memory expert by any means, but if you do a search on the model#, adding a R you will get the same memory with a red heat spreader.

red and blue makes purple...a well known slow colour....
