need to activate windows to log on?

I changed the motherboard on my computer and when I restarted the computer, it said i needed to activate windows in order to log on, but it can't connect when i try to connect to microsoft to activate. Do I need to call Microsoft to explain this to them?

The driver probably needs to be installed for your NIC. You really shouldn't just pop in a new motherboard and continue on your way though, a reformat/reinstall should be done to get rid of the old drivers and install everything fresh. It's always nicer to have a system that is freshly installed anyways.
