i have a 93 crown vic and i need to find some summer tires for it. i'll be getting some 16" steel rims, so i'm looking to get 225/50r16's to put on it. I want a dedicated summer tire(not all season) so i can get the most performance in dry and wet conditions out of it as i have a set of snow tires for winter. I was looking at some Dunlop SP Sport A2's like these http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...+Sport+A2&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=25HR6A2 as i can get them from my work for about $100 canadian each. The concerns i have about the A2's is hydroplaning(the center solid stripe) and only having an H speed rating(V ratings are usually built a bit better, correct?)
I have to keep in mind price and performance. road noise doesn't bother me, and i want to keep it under $100usd(152 canadian) if possible. They need to have a strong sidewall as my baby is just a wee bit heavy
What i'd really like would be some BFG G-Force KD's but they're $188usd and waaaay too expensive for me. If anyone has any suggestions i'd love to hear them
