Need tips for Ebay selling

First let me say I know Ebay isn't the most secure place in the world to sell things like laptops, but it's about my only place I can list it and expect to get a reasonable amount for it. I could put it here in the FS forum but everyone there knows you can get a dirt cheap, fairly powerful system from Dell with rebates and all. I could list it at amazon.com but there's not enough traffic there and it might take years to sell.

What I need form you expert Ebay sellers is tips on what to do, not to do, say, not say, find out, and otherwise do to protect myself from would-be scammers. I have a PayPal premium account.

Here's what I already know:

1) Paypal CC payments can be chargebacked to you for no apparent reason. That's all I know about that. I don't know what Paypal's rules are about initiating one.

2) Paypal isn't the best place to complete a transaction. I know the company likes to randomly freeze assets and be a pain about explaining why.

3) If I sell international at all, it will only be to Canada. I know not to send it to Nigeria or Romania.

4) I know to request phone #'s, addresses, that sort of thing for the buyer so I have some way to trach them if something goes bad.

5) Ship with a service with tracking + insurance.

6) Have a return policy in the listing. Use clear actual photos. Delete pics of goat sex.

7) no transactions outside Ebay.

8) USPS money orders are more secure than PayPal.

Anything else I can do to protect myself, please let me know.

The expected transation amount is ~$1200-$1400.

Do yourself a favor and make sure you ship using Fedex or something and get a tracking number requiring signature confirmation!

Use good photos of the actual laptop, not stock photos.

Clearly explain any problems, scratches, dents, etc...

Clearly explain your return policy, as is, whatever.

Make the buyer buy insurance and a tracking number, or pay for it yourself and add a little to the price.

Delete all goat pron before you ship.

Don't accept offers from people e-mailing you.

If you are afraid to use paypal, make it payment by USPS money order ONLY... then require a short waiting period to ensure the money order clears and is valid before shipping.

Don't sell international period (not even Canada), it's just a pain in the a$$

Get a Paypal premium account and accept CC but only ship to confirmed addresses.
Make sure you state in your auction that you will only ship to confirmed addresses.

Ignore the folks emailing you to end the auction early for $xxx unless you have "buy it now" and they are willing to pay the "buy it now price"

Laptops do pretty good on ebay, I sell throw-a-ways with good LCD's and do pretty well as they are usually repair guys buying it just for the screen.
