the heatsink clip is sometimes hard to put on sometimes, i know the coolermasters are a b!tch. Just know that it shouldnt take all ur stregnth to try and put it on. U may need to bend the clip urself a little bit so it will be easier. I almost cracked my cpu by smashing it with the heatsink.

The heatsinks I have installed on Durons only go on one way, but that may not be immediately obvious. If you are having trouble with the heatsink clip, check the geometry and try flipping it around 180 degrees. NEVER force it!

It shouldn't be that hard, I thought the PAL6035 I used on here was really easy to get on. Coolermasters are a little tougher though, and it will require a bit of force. The 6035 could go on either way (it is square), but some heatsinks have an "overhang" that go on the obvious way:). Personally I like using my fingers over a screwdriver. Make sure it looks like it *should* go on the way you have it, so it's not backwards.

*Always* check for loose screws in the case. I found one at the last second, and it could have meant disaster. Also, go slowly.

One last thing: check your boot disk. Took me a f@#$in hour to figure out why it wouldn't read my boot disk. It became corrupted somehow, :Duh: :).

Good luck, the speed is well worth the trouble installing it:)
