I have a TV with a broken Coax input. My initial thought was to get a VCR cheap off Craigslist, but if I can find something smaller that would be great.

I've searched for Coax to RCA but everything I get is RCA to coax.
Anybody have a name for this, or can they link one that is under $20 (if they exist)?
Having trouble finding this on my own...thanks!!!

Tuner, you need a tuner.

Go with the VCR if you can pick one up for under $20. Otherwise I'd opt for a DVD recorder with built in tuner (analog if you are watching analog TV).

Won't the digital tuners used for the transition to DTV have a NTSC tuner in them? You could pick up a coupon and probably get one for not much money and have a HD tuner to boot.

Upon second thought a FREE after coupon digital converter box will work if you are only watching OTA material. With the DVD recorders with a digital tuner, you will need one with a QAM tuner (some may or may not have this in addition to the FCC required digital tuner). Also watch out for the tunerless recorders.
