Parent's need a internet for connection there store....
Problem is that they can't get cable because is a commercial building.
They can't get DSL because something about the line being "too far away".
They even tried to get satellite but it's not avaliable for their area.
What other options do they have?Somekind of wireless internet? Getting someones WAP?
It's a small bussiness so they're not going to need anything major.
56k is too slow because they need to go to a server and check their inventory for other stores.
the store is located in South Gate, CA 90280

usually you can get cable, but you have to purchase a commercial package (can't use the el cheapo residential packages). Other options would be a leased line (T1, half T1).

We got a half T1 from ELI for pretty cheap, and thy will dial it up channel by channel when we need more B/W.

Where can I go check to see what isp provides t1 in my area.

chances are the local phone company would sell you one, or local ISPs

best bet is to start calling.
