I'm sitting here glaring at a Dell something or other (about 3 years old) running Win98. It's not mine, it belongs to this elderly gentleman who knows next to nothing about computers. He called me because he couldn't check his e-mail. So I come over and for some reason the e-mail server is breaking the connection after he downloads 3 e-mails or so (there were 18 in his box). I called their tech support and he said Outlook Express 5 sometimes did this and that version 6 was better. So I downloaded version 6. Now Outlook Express won't start at all, uninstalling does nothing, I even tried installing Outlook 2000 and that won't start either.
Can someone recommend an extremely simple e-mail program I can put on this guy's computer?
