My borther got an Asus bord with the Via 133a chipset on it. I never payed much attention to this chipset because I've stuck with the BX platform. I rember seeing nighmare stories about that 4 into 1 driver, what is it, how do I install it and what ver to use. Also I rember seeing that some bios setting could greatly improve the memory preformance of this chipset, what are they and what shoud they be set to. He's getting the final pieces on Monday.
He diden't ask me what to get so... I guess it's his first attempt to build a system. He's getting a slot one(or so he says) P3-600 from a friend, don't think it'll be seeing the 133 bus. It's a learning thing for him and I'm gonna try to help him.
