need the best solution for summer

i'll be going for a summer camp during the summer, and i decided to take massive amount of pictures / videos, it seems that a digital camera will do the job

the thing is a camera will probably cost me more than 300 dollars, i kept telling myself that with those money i could probably get a PDA.

i would like to work things out in the more "computer" way. if you guys got any other crazy solutions please tell me how to do it, thanks
