Need the Best HDTV for the Xbox360

I'm looking for a tv for the xbox360, either 720p, 1080i/p. The price has to be as cheap as possible, but be a solid tv. It needs to be less than 30" wide to fit in my home theater and the depth of tv doesn't matter (won't be hung on the wall). Built in speakers would be nice but not necessary. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated. Thx

How far away are you sitting from your TV? The reason I ask is a 30" widescreen isn't going to give you much to look at, especially if you ever watch any 4:3 programming. Have you considered redoing your home theater setup so you can get a bigger set?

I have a Sony 50" LCD. It's got a nice picture but in just over a year the lamp died on it. Sony only warranties the lamp 1 year even though they had a problem with lamps. Lucky for me I had an extended warranty. I believe the lamp issues have been fixed in the newer models.

Can't really explain it, but that is as wide as it can fit: 30.5 width, not the screen diagonally, but width. I think I found the perfect fit: Dell W2600 LCD TV for $999. Has component, dvi, vga, and built in speakers. 720p would be perfect on it and it even has built in OTA tuner. Width of monitor is 29.84", PERFECT fit. That sounds like a steal, what do you guys think?
