need text program

Now that I am in college I need to write more, but more along the lines of quick notes and the like. I don't need something like Open Office, but a good fast program like Notepad but with more options in it. I'm looking for either good dragging and dropping or easy copy/paste function so I can email or transfer documents over the internet easily. Anything with html or other programming languages built in is a plus too. Thanks.

I know the exeact program your looking for. Notepad2

its like notepad except better and it supports a bunch or languages too

I also find it to be very easy on the eyes for reading documents and such


But the best thing or all...its only like 550kb
