Looking to get something for my brother. I want it to sound good, but I don't have a ton I can throw down for it. I have Z-5500s which I've used for HT and computer use, so I'll use that as a bit of a benchmark.
I'd like something with decent bass, the sub with the Z-5500s are probably overkill, but for movies and music, some deep, rich bass is heavily preferred.
Obviously the satellites should be decent as well, but I'm not as familiar with what's all out there to feel comfortable making a choice, so educate me AT!
What would your suggestions be in a lower price range? ($2-300 or so). If they're a bit more expensive, tell me why they might be work it, I don't want to leave anything uncovered!
