What are some good summer jobs with lots of people?

I'm 26
I work full time during the week and weekends i'm free since no school.
Instead of staying home, i rather do something productive, meet new people etc.

you might want to edit this info into your original post
it'll help people in answering your question

Marketing jobs if you want something that'll pay decently well, meet a lot of people and not have too many responsibilities.

summer school teaching...especially if your a science person, you'll be in demand
only problem is the people you meet will be teenagers

I'm going to try to get a job at Bennigan's the restaurant chain, they just open one close to my house, but my requirement of only weekend hours might not go well for them. I also have 5 years of Restaurant/Management experience.

Restaurants good places to meet people, lots of college people.
Volunteering doesn't sound like a bad idea, maybe one day, but most be something I believe in. Save the whales or something lol.

Just found a job for Kennel Assistant at the North Shore Animal League posted on craiglist. Weekend positions. Going to send my resume.

Work at a camp! Come June 2nd, I'll be gone for 3 months. It's a huge christian camp, and I already know about 10 - 15 people working there this summer, it should be a blast.

Aren't camps weekdays? I can only do weekends.

Ah... heh, missed that part. 🙂

Find a local business or organization that you would be interested in and do an internship or volunteer your time.

I worked for the county Public Defenders office basically for the hell of it. Looks damn good on a resume, too.

In general, apply anywhere that you would like to see a discount/benefits from.
