Need Suggestions

Have done some google and come up with a few sites but thought I would drop a line here and check out if someone from anandtech has any suggestions for a system for my living room. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for but don't want to stick a mint into it. Maybe in the 6 to $700 at the most. Wireless would be nice but want something that has quality and will last more than a year.

Onkyo Home Theater In a Box, they have systems $250 - up, buy the best you can afford.

I think it's CC that has a Polk + Pioneer bundle in your price range, that should be good too.
