I hate the post office, so I thought, hm. There must be something up with the power since the old set up doesn't work anymore. My friend put the floppy disk power cord thing into the outgoing audio thing on the motherboard, apparently (per Geek Squad guy). I went to Best Buy and brought the components in. The guy put the power cords into the right spot on the motherboard and the computer turned on. Nothing was fried. Woo!

The guy put all the new stuff into the computer, took out the old stuff, and helped me with some startup issues (it bluescreened like 4 times). Luckily, my friend put the processor and fan into the motherboard so they could actually work on it at Best Buy. If that ONE thing hadn't been done, they wouldn't have been able to help me at all. Apparently, in the past they lost money when people didn't put the processor onto the motherboard juuuust right, so they just don't do it anymore.

I'm using my new setup and I can do everything I wanted on NICE settings with very little lag on my side. I do run into some lag when a big "zerg" AKA large number of people in WvWvW show up, but I turn my settings down when that happens.

Thanks everyone for your comments and help!

PS: I got a copy of Watch Dogs with the graphics card :3 Bonus!

Glad everything worked out in the end! :) I figured there was some sort of power problem since DOAs are honestly quite rare. I think it's safe to say that you shouldn't let that particular friend touch the inside of your computer ever again.
