Need suggestions on website, or own input on laptop stand

I work for a growing telecommunications company, and I am in a 1 ton chevy van. Anyways its not in our company's budget to buy laptops stands so I have decided to build one. I know all of you here are very sharp and just wanted some suggestions before I started. Preferably a do it your self web page. Anyways any info would be great. Or Ill just stick to the original plan of welding a piece of steel to a swivel, and weld that to a steel arm.
