I'm looking to buy a new video capture device. I'm getting a dvd writer so my old usb Dazzle Video Creator isn't going to cut it for doing dvds. I'm thinking I should get another USB video capture unit since I don't want to replace my video card. I have a Geforce4 and I just love that thing so I'm not departing from it. I'm looking at maybe the Dazzle 150 or the Adaptec Video Creator DVD USB Device Kit. Any suggestions on them? Maybe I'm overlooking an obvious better choice. I'm looking to be able to connect my satellite up to it once in a while to tape television, transfer video tapes from my vcr to dvd, and eventually plan on getting a camcorder.

Look into a WinTV model 401 or similar card. DO NOT get a USB capture device, they cannot capture at a good rate. Also, avoid the Creative Labs Digital VCR, it cannot do what you want it to do (I know this from experience)

Just curious what you ended up getting and if you are happy with it. I'm looking for a good quality capture card.
thanks
