The last two years I've paid $24 for the SportingNews fantasy baseball news, and done the free league that comes with. The league has a $100 prize for first place, so it's good payout. But since everybody has access to the same info it's really hard to do any tricky trades. Also if you don't watch your team 24/7 it's impossible to pickup any hot guys from the waiver wire because other owners see the news first.
So, are there any better pay leagues separate from SportingNews? I just do regular 5x5 roto, daily transaction. The reason I've stuck with SportingNews is that I love their league site layout. It's so easy to do everything.
Also on a similar subject, are there better news sites than SportingNews? I wouldn't mind paying separate for league and news if I'm going to have a lot more fun.
