Need suggestions on a new mouse!

My MS Intellimouse Explorer just broke after about 2 years :|. The mouse would be primarily used for gaming. Preferably optical. Should I go with a Logitech? Stay with MS? Any suggestions appreciated :]
 
The newest MS, I believe it's the intellimouse 3.0 is good for gaming as well as the logitech mx 500 & 700. (both are the same, except the 700 is wireless). All of these have great response so it's really a matter of prefrence.

I love this thing. Lots of buttons, very accurate. Great to have a couple extra buttons to bind controls to in games.
 
Very personal choice. I thought I would get the MX, but ended up with the MS Intellimouse. Gotta try them both in your hand...they feel different. The MS mouse just felt better in my hand. If you game for hours or just use your computer a lot, you gotta get a mouse that feels good. Functionality wise, you will see little difference. Good luck.
