If you guys could just help me out. I'm looking to put together a decent computer (from new egg) to use strictly for business purposes, Word,Excel, Web Browsing ETC. I want something decently fast. I need a motherboard, cpu, a gpu that supports dual monitor and 1680x1050 resolution, and ram as well. I'm trying to save as much money possible. Thnk you so much guys. You guys are great!!!

So you want help putting together HARDWARE....

I would get a nice socket 939 Athlon 64 3000+ and a gig of Corsair valueram. Other than that, I say pretty much anything will work.

For the GPU I think I read about the new ATi's hardware rendering both monitor outs? If that's the case then maybe something like a ATi 1600xt(or whatever the alphabet soup ending is)

Yeah i was thinking the same.

What do you think of this:

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16819103535
Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813131569
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16820145440

Just need video card .. let me know if thats a good combo so far

I think these picks are good choices. I was going to suggest the 3200+ over the 3000+ and you did it before I got to say it! If I am not mistaking the northbridge fan on that motherboard has has issues but I think ASUS corrected the problem since.

Ever since the switch to PCI-E I've lost track of video cards for 2d applications, one thing I can recommend is that both outputs are DVI if your monitors need that...don't settle for the D-Sub to DVI converter that comes with some 1+1 video cards.
