I'm looking to replace the stock HSF for the AMD 64 CPU on my ASRock 939Dual mobo.

I was thinking about the Zalman CNPS9500, but it does not seem to be listed on the compatiblity list at the Zalman site.

I've been getting freezeups due to CPU heat issues and need a solution.
Thanks

Are you looking for top of the line cooling, or budget cooling?

Both the AMD quad heatpipe and Freezer64 Pro are excellent choices for around $20 shipped and don't require removal of the motherboard to install. I've had both and I'd recommend the Freezer because of the larger and quieter 92mm fan. The Freezer keeps my Sempron64 at 2.6Ghz with 1.55v at 45C max, and I plan on using it on a X2 4200+ in a couple days.

Freezer64 for $15 + shipping

There are better and more expensive solutions ($30-$40) like the Ninja, XP-120, etc., but most require removal of the MB.

Yea, good question. Just looking for a basic solution for this comp which is not being overclocked.
I'll look into your suggestions.
Thanks.

If it's not overclocked and running at the stock voltage, the Freezer provides plenty of cooling.

Thanks for the info guys.
I ordered it from newegg even though it's 5 bucks more when shipping is factored in. I figure newegg is my best bet at getting this thing shipped fast so I can ease my son's headaches with his comp.

Thanks again.
