Need suggestions for CPU and cooler

I need suggestions on what 478-pin cpu to get for a ABIT VT7 mobo (got for free), and a cpu heatsink/fan? It doesn't have to be the very best chip, but I would like a descent one. Also, about how should these items run?

If you're going to spend that much money you might as well get a retail e2140 with a heatsink and a asrock ddr1 mobo for the same price.
I wouldnt invest a lot of money on a s478 cpu, look in the for sale section maybe someone is selling one.
