Need suggestions for cheap spacers/risers

My dvd player has not 'feet' and is currently sitting on top of the DVR elevated by 4 building blocks borrowed from my 4 yo. Any suggestions for a more permanent solution.

Unless I get a new/larger tv stand, I don't have options for moving either of these components.
